Melody Doyle is from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Singing since she was six, and soon thereafter writing her own songs, Melody’s sound combines heartfelt lyrics with rhythmic melodies.
Studied vocals under the Reverend Carl Walker and jazz icon Roberta Davis in their homes as a student of Twin Cities Black Music educators. Melody was in the first graduating class of the Rudy Perpich Center for the Arts.
Melody toured the united states, and spent six months in Korea under the Guidance of the late Giovanni Elli Singing lead vocals for the M.W.R. (Military Welfare Rational).
In her professional life, she is a Certified P.C.A. and Artist who recently completed her first mural for the office wall of her employer Circle of Life Anishanaabe.
She's currently pursuing her Bachelor degree for L.A.D.C. and is enrolled full time at Metropolitan State University.

Melody has been a part of The Sounds of Blackness and has sang on the same stage as the great legends (such as Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest) and sang with them for the Anniversary of George Floyd, featuring Common, in 2021.
She sang and toured with the group to London, Japan, Martinique, and Jamaica dating back to 1992.
Recently, she performed with the Sounds of Blackness on the 2021 Billboard Music Awards and recorded on the “Reparations” single.
